87th & Western Recognized at Westside Urban Forum Design Awards

The Westside Urban Forum (WUF) Westside Prize and Design Awards will be celebrating outstanding contributions to land use policy, innovative architecture, and the quality of life in the city and region.

87th and Western received the Merit Award in the Multi-Unit (50+) Housing Category. The jury’s notes included:

  • “A large, ambitious project that will transform this area along western that is in need of investment. The exterior design, site planning, and massing have a thoughtfulness that will integrate well into the busy boulevard and the adjacent single family homeside streets.”
  • “Goes a long way to have this kind of design in the neighborhood. Great density, and like how it’s connected to the ground with paseos, retail, and greenspace.”
