The Waverly Recognized as a Finalist for the DJC 2022 Building of the Year

January 20, 2023 / Seattle DJC

The Waverly was recognized as one of the finalists for the 2022 Building of the Year by the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce. Named after Waverly Place in New York City’s Greenwich Village, the design is inspired by the industry, diversity, and history of South Lake Union, resulting in an urban, eclectic living experience. The 374-unit building has amenities that include an art gallery “living room” in the lobby, co-working spaces, a yoga room, a rooftop lounge, a boardroom, a rooftop speakeasy bar, and a futsal court.

In addition to interior design services by GGLO, the building team includes Greystar, Turner Construction, Weber Thompson, Olson Kundig, WSP, and The Justen Company.

Voting for this award will close on January 27.
