Back in 2020, AvalonBay Communities purchased a large portion of The Seattle Times’ shuttered North Creek printing plant. That deal was for some 23 acres at 19200 120th Avenue NE. The developer was then planning Avalon Bothell Commons with GGLO and Barghausen. The phased plan calls for about 800 apartments, 110 townhouses for the sales market and over 6,000 sf of retail/commercial space.
