In the heart of the urban center of Bellevue, Washington lies a mixed-use community that creates a pedestrian connection and neighborhood gathering place among busy downtown streets. The building is sited and landscape-designed to create an active urban “alley” where residents and passersby can connect and thrive. A fully integrated indoor-outdoor retail space offers a highly flexible configuration that can be adapted to suit different visitor and user groups. Retail in the alley is designed to attract boutique, local retailers to bring diversity to the predominantly suburban chain culture in Bellevue.

Above the alley, 260 units of housing take advantage of views out to the mountains and over the city. A roof deck, designed as an urban oasis for residents in the middle of downtown, features an outdoor lounge, pet area and indoor-outdoor kitchen dining elements. Drawing the design philosophies of the ground floor up through the building, a flexible landscaped gathering area provides space for entertaining and reflecting.
