“Not only has GGLO delivered beautiful designs on their projects, but they also bring an incredible depth of knowledge on the intricacies of multifamily buildings. This combination has been instrumental for the success of the 624 Yale Apartments.”
– Max Blume, Blume Company
624 Yale is located in the northeast Cascade neighborhood of South Lake Union. Bordered by Yale, Roy and Mercer streets, this project occupies a highly visible but underutilized site around a very active corridor into and out of Seattle’s fastest growing neighborhood. The site has an irregular shape and sloping topography that the design capitalizes on by separating the project into two separate buildings, offering abundant program uses and engaging with the street level through walking paths, open green spaces and retail options.
With an overall goal of fostering urban livability, 624 Yale will engage and strengthen this nexus between communities, offering a link to other Seattle neighborhoods and beyond.
