Tom’s global view and continued desire to the study and practice architecture fuels his wish to constantly improve our environment. He creates captivating, contextual mixed-use urban architecture with an emphasis on housing. Tom recognizes it is important to understand how people use a space and how people perceive a design from within and afar. His essential role as an architect is to connect this understanding with beauty and aesthetics, thus, creating a built environment that weaves all the complex and varied parts and behaviors together. Interested in conveying his experiences and learning from the next generation of designers and innovators, Tom is a board member of the Washington State University School of Design and Construction.
