Hootan Ahranjani

“Nothing requires the architect's care more than the due proportions of buildings.” - Vitruvius

Originally from Frankfurt, Germany, Hootan is an enthusiastic designer and has worked with design leaders around the globe at several prestigious architectural firms based in Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom/England and the United States.  He considers architecture a privilege of multidisciplinary practice and is most passionate about creating beautiful places that lead to better quality of communities, cities, and life.

With a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Hootan is a licensed architect in Germany and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects.  His portfolio includes award winning projects, and he has more than 10 years of international experience in urban mixed-use, multi-family, office, and high-rise residential buildings, along with transformation of historic buildings within urban and landscape context.

Hootan grew up on three different continents where he learned to write, think, and speak in three languages, and this influences how he approaches contextual design of noble purpose which reflects society, culture, environment, and lifestyle beautifully and positively, and adds charisma and personality to its dwellers.

When not working Hootan enjoys traveling, visiting the Symphony Orchestra, learning new languages, playing the piano, cooking and exploring the city and the beauty of Seattle’s historic buildings.
