As an East Coast native, Allison moved to the Pacific Northwest in order to engage in the region’s particular awareness of and concern for environmentally conscious design. The potential of architecture to improve people’s quality of life is what draws her to the profession. She is especially interested in the growing area of Public Interest Design and its emphasis on the social, economic, and environmental impacts of architectural projects.
Allison is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a professional architecture degree and a minor in Sustainability Studies. From her time at the Center for Architecture, Science and Ecology in New York City, she has practiced working with multiple sustainable building technologies. Allison primarily focuses on housing projects within the GGLO team, leveraging her passion for impactful design excellence to improve communities across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
