Alina Hanson

Music, art and dance were influential throughout Alina’s upbringing. You can still find her dabbling in various art mediums, learning the piano and even dancing with salsa and ballroom groups.

Alina is a Portland native and a graduate of the University of Oregon, where she earned her degree in architecture. She traveled throughout Europe and studied abroad in Denmark before settling back in Portland where she worked on mixed-use, public and K-12 projects. With over ten years in the industry, Alina has since worked in a diverse number of project types and all phases of design. She enjoys the client interaction process and formulating designs that improve the lives of end users. Sustainable design is also a passion of hers, as she seeks to preserve the integrity of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, capturing the spirit and unique aspects of every project.

Excited by the prospect of moving to a bigger city, Alina recently relocated north to Seattle with her husband and joined GGLO. Outside of work, you can find her enjoying her favorite restaurants in Seattle, finding new places to explore outside of the city, and dreaming about her next vacation to Europe.
