“We continue to be amazed at the difference the remodel has made. The cottages are simply beautiful and such a warm and friendly place for the children. I think it helps them feel special and wanted which are feelings they don’t often experience. Thank you for helping give them those moments.”

Karen BradyMSW, MBA, Ryther Executive Director / CEO

Ryther is a Seattle organization and a recognized leader in providing behavioral health services for children ages 3-19 and support for their families. Operating for 130 years, they have grown their main campus to nine buildings and two off-campus locations and offer housing as an alternative to hospitalization. In the past fifteen years, there has been few significant improvement made to the residential cottages on Ryther’s campus. While the site is functional, there are definite improvements that can be made to further Ryther’s mission.

GGLO assisted Ryther in updating their residential facilities by making them safer, healthier and more inspiring for the children and staff. These designs include a substantial remodel to an off-site treatment facility and the remodel of three cottages on their main campus for the treatment of children with intensive mental health concerns. These renovations include new flooring, furniture, color palettes and more. This will create a more welcoming and healing environment that improves efficiency and coordination among therapy and program staff.
