“This is the most beautiful boat center, and a definite place to visit in port Townsend. Two stories of gloriousness!”

Kira M, Visitor

GGLO was the Landscape Architect in a collaborative process with the Northwest Maritime Center and an integrated Design Team for a new multi-purpose cultural and educational facility along the shores of Port Townsend. The LEED Gold project included a 20,000 square foot public commons for festivals and events, custom designed streetscape elements, native planting, and parking stalls with electric car charging stations. The project, in historic Port Townsend, was designed to meet both the cultural needs of the historic preservation commission and the environmental needs of a sustainable building along the waterfront.
