“If you are looking for a place in SLU that is LEED certified, environmentally focused, clean, modern and near a park, this is a great option!”

Eri K, Resident

Located in the South Lake Union Neighborhood across from Cascade Playground, GGLO’s design of 161 unit Alcyone was shaped by several significant neighborhood and developer goals for quality, livability and sustainability. Alcyone created a new housing paradigm for an existing neighborhood, fitting the current context, but breaking new ground in realizing what the neighborhood can achieve in the future.

Alcyone is the first LEED® Certified market rate project in Seattle, further differentiating itself from typical market rate housing with its integrated live/work units and steel framing. Distinctive massing and varied exterior materials embody a neighborhood in transition, while maximizing views of the Space Needle and surrounding community. Flats, townhouses, and loft-style live/work units open their front doors onto landscaped streetscapes and activate the adjacent alley.
