Tom grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where he spent a great deal of time doodling in the margins of his class notebooks. Tom pursued an interest in the arts and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in interior design from Brigham Young University and a master of architecture degree from Arizona State University. While attending ASU he developed an appreciation for how the built environment impacts its surroundings. For his thesis project he proposed a new modular design for portable classrooms in the Phoenix Elementary school district.
Since moving to Seattle, Tom has worked on a range of project types from corporate interiors to large scale mixed-use projects in China, India and the Middle East. He finds great excitement in the act of delivering a project from concept to built-reality. Tom enjoys the collaboration and interaction that comes with delivering complex projects and strives to provide thoughtful design solutions that function well and inspire the community.
