Ian Garnier

Ian has been a part of two Guinness World Records: the Largest Snowball Fight and Loudest Crowd Roar at a Sports Stadium.

Ian moved to Seattle shortly after high school, sparking his appreciation for the accessibility to nature that the Northwest provides. Ian’s growing interest in the relationship between urban development and the environment grew during his schooling and was the inspiration that led him to study design.

A recent graduate from the University of Washington, Ian obtained Masters Degrees in both Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning while receiving a Certificate in Urban Design. Ian is interested in how the built environment can respond to ecological concerns at a variety of scales. His design interests lay where art and a landscape’s narrative converge to actively create healthy, vibrant communities.
