Dan grew up in NYC and developed an interest in the arts which led him to a career as a manager and producer in the professional theater. He worked with theater and arts organizations around the country, which ultimately brought him to Seattle. His experience and skills in integrating the critical elements of art/design and commerce in service of building sound, vibrant and creative organizations extended to successful collaborations in the built environment- most prominently working in senior leadership or consulting roles with prominent architectural design firms. He has directed strategic planning, business development, organizational change and team-building initiatives for a broad range of organizations including professional service firms, technology, manufacturing companies and non-profit organizations.
The focus of his work has been to bring people together around a shared vision that produces greater alignment, performance, innovation and value for companies and their clients. Dan brings that energy, imagination and passion to his work at GGLO contributing to strategic planning, team alignment, business development and practice innovation.
He has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Arts Management from the University of Illinois, is a Certified Coach and Trainer in Emotional Intelligence with Six Seconds of Palo Alto. He is a Graduate of the Generating Transformative Change Program (GTC) through LIOS Graduate College also trained in Group Facilitation through the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA).
