Steve Nordlund AIA

With a family background in building and a long-standing fascination with art and history, it was perhaps inevitable that Steve would become an architect. After a foray in business school, he got serious and followed his true calling, completing the MArch program at the UW.

Since then, Steve has worked on a wide variety of project types. The art and science nature of architecture appeals to both sides of his brain. He considers himself somewhat of a generalist, being interested in “just about everything.”

While sticking close to his Northwest roots, he enjoys historically oriented travel and otherwise expanding his horizons through interests in photography, music, and literature. Steve participated in the foreign study program at the UW and has returned to Europe several times.
