Robert Mech AIA

After graduating with degrees in Architecture and Historic Preservation in the desert southwest, Robert moved to Seattle to focus on adaptive reuse and sustainable design practices at GGLO. He is an integral part of our retail team and has worked on a variety of project types in renovation and urban renewal. Robert’s passion for a building’s history guides his development in detailing and interfacing the old and new in architecture. Precedent and context help shape the built environment by reusing existing resources in an efficient and productive way. This focus on embodied energy enhances each project to which he contributes.

You can usually find Robert outside of work at thrift shops, garage sales, and antique malls where he satiates his hunger for mid-century modern fixtures and furnishings. It is also not uncommon to find him sporting the latest [sic] in vintage clothing.
