Jennifer was initially attracted to architecture for the diversity of design and history. Over fifteen years of creating affordable housing and housing for senior living & special needs populations developed a deeper interest and understanding of how thoughtfully designed, sustainable environments can improve people’s lives. She is committed to designing buildings and spaces that benefit the community as a whole. Finding a balance between the use of sustainable resources and building quality environments is important to her.

Jennifer is a strong advocate for accessibility and universal design for all ages and abilities. Her knowledge of the accessibility codes and regulations is a resource for everyone in the office. She serves on GGLO's Affordable Housing Task Force as well as the AIA Design for Aging Committee and is a member of the Northwest Universal Design Council and Housing Task Force.
