Master planning for residential and mixed-use communities is one of Don’s core strengths. He thrives on large, multi-faceted projects, working with private developers, public agencies, citizen and conservation groups, and consultant teams to develop effective consensus-based plans. With skills in programming, charrette facilitation, streetscape design and housing design, Don has experience in multiple professional roles.

As part of his continuing search for design excellence, Don recently completed an advanced degree in landscape architecture, where he concentrated his study on the design of public urban spaces. Don passionately believes that inspired neighborhood planning, when combined with meaningful public space design and quality
architecture, has the power to offer people a sustainable, high
quality-of-life.
