Can you afford not to be green?
We don’t think so. In fact, our sustainable design experience demonstrates that environmental, social, and economic sustainability are compatible. Nearly half our firm is LEED® Accredited, and the majority of our projects are pursuing sustainability benchmarking systems, including:
• LEED (multiple systems including LEED for Neighborhood Development)
• Built Green™ Multi-Family and Communities
• Enterprise Green Communities
• Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard
• Living Building Challenge
• Sustainable Sites Initiative Guidelines and Performance Benchmarks
GGLO's commitment to the 2030 Challenge is reflected in multiple aspects of our practice. Our Sustainable Design Group educates staff, peers, and clients in green building practices; our Environmental Action Plan ensures we adhere to the same ambitious standards we recommend to our clients; and we have been conducting Building Performance Evaluations since 2006.
