Alliances

GGLO has a long history of supporting non-profit groups that share the firms core values of community and environmental stewardship. Over the past two years we donated long-term office space to Worldchanging and Great City.

From 2008-2010 GGLO collaborated in a pro-bono partnership with the Seattle-based advocacy group Futurewise in a project to promote transit-oriented communities. In late 2009, the team published their 70-page document "Transit-Oriented Communities: A Blueprint for Washington State".

"It is probably not love
that makes the world
go around, but rather
those mutually supportive
alliances through which
partners recognize their
dependence on each other
for the achievement of
shared and private goals."
Fred Allen (1894 - 1956)
