Senior Hospitality Designer

The individual we need must have their Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field along with 20+ years of experience as an architectural and/or interior designer with a focus on hospitality projects.

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge of the phases of the design process and construction
  • Knowledge of the components of materials and detailing
  • Knowledge of code and regulations governing the hospitality industry and ability to perform research
  • Knowledge of the parts and purpose of contracts, drafted documents and specifications
  • Understanding of GGLO accounting and billing processes
  • Understanding of scope of project in relation to fee
  • Complete knowledge of GGLO Project Management Manual

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Knowledge of computer software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in SketchUp, Windows-based programs, Microsoft Office and Windows OS
  • Experience with Deltek a plus
  • Ability to hand draft and draw freehand
  • Understands how to solve unusual or complex issues
